This low table links the upper and lower surfaces through carefully constructed legs that were created using both stream bending and bent lamination. The exposed joinery reinforces the table both structurally and aesthetically. The rounded profile used on the legs mirrors their curved nature, and blends seamlessly into the tables surfaces. To achieve the simple and sleek appearance of this table, tremendous effort was put into concealing the laminations used in the legs while at same time intentionally exposing the subtle connection between the legs and the upper and lower surfaces. A truly challenging and rewarding build, this table stands at 14” tall, 42” long, and 27” wide.
